11:00 a.m. - 06.06.03 One thing that's fun about Japan? The fact that you can end up spending way more money than you thought that you were going to spend on something that is entirely different than the original thing that you set out to buy, simply because you were in the right place (Mandarake, Shibuya) at the right time (yesterday) and they had the right thing (Harry Potter doujinshi by Koge Donbo - rather, the cutest thing EVER) and I just couldn't resist, if only for the potential resale value on ebay, since I don't really have any desire to collect doujinshi myself. Japan is just full of this - the desire to simply buy lots and lots of stuff because you know that you can get tons more money for it in the united states. Like loose socks. You can get lots of money for loose socks, and here they're only like, 4$. I guess that the call lies in whether or not you want to ship or carry the things home... My life is really really sad. And Special K with red berries is a great cereal and is not beaten by whatever new cereal Doug is advocating now. :)
And I really have nothing else I feel like writing here right now...
