So, yes! The computers in the computer lab that we currently have access to at school do NOT have AIM on them. This is lame on several different levels. But I can download the newest version of Divx and burn it to cd, which is all I am currently asking for - I feel cravings to watch the Buffy ep Storyteller that came out before coming here, pretty much only because of the "we are as gods!" scene. I need to see the Troika cavort right now, damnit, and old divx will not let me.

My schedule here looks like so much sarcastic fun. I got into M1 Japanese class, which meets at 9.15 AM 5 days a week. Mondays and Thursdays I will also have three other classes. Hopefully. That is, if I am able to get into them during registration. Shopping for classes is the silliest system. We will not know what classes we got into until 2 weeks or so into the semester, by which time you will be two weeks behind if you have to switch classes. So, hopefully, I will be taking Interpretations of Modernity, Masterpieces of japanese Art, and either Japanese Religion of Survey of Japanese Literature 2. I have a few backup courses too, just in case.

There are feral cats all around campus, which is cute and all, but then Rick freaks me out and goes right up to them and pets them. They could be diseased!! with some weird feral cat disease!

Chocolate bread is delicious. Bread is delicious, period. Oh, and a fun story from when we went to Asakusa thatI didn't get a chance to write about and don't want to forget: Bill and I were wandering around, looking at terrifying pigeons *shudder*, when a woman asks me if I will take a picture of her and her friend in front of the temple. Say yes, of course, why not! She says that they already have a pose picked out, and they both reach into a box of some sort of meatball food and each pick up one with a toothpick. They sort of mess around with it for a bit, and then she pretends to lean in to kiss her friend and then laughs, and says "we are not lesbians!" It was so funny. I take the picture, and she asks if I want them to take our picture. No, its fine, and instead I ask for a picture of them to commemorate the occasion. Ach, it was just classic.

The Tokyu Hands department store sells really cute and strange costumes and costume parts. There was an adorable little orange Tokyo Mew Mew reminiscent maid outfit (ORANGE!!) that I just might have to get, not to mention some gorgeous wings.

The really really good news is that I got my room in Zwingli back for next semester. Well, currently it is Adam's room, but it will be mine again, and this is just... really pleasing. Tom is a good proxy :). He proxys like a madman, I tell ya! Ok, so really I don't know how well he proxys, but I assume it is well since I got my first choice. That just must mean good things. Now the only things that must be taken care of for Ursinus are 1.) hoping that my course registration went ok, and 2.) registering to do honors research by April 30th. Woot and such.
