1:17 a.m. - 11.09.02 Oh, I am in such a good mood it's ridiculous. aw, man, Gauntlet SUCKS! :p. Tonight the Modern Languages department showed The Princess and the Warrior, and it was much more impressive after watching it a second time. Afterwards Tom and I stayed for the "discussion", which was interesting since we were kind of an oddity, being two of the three students there - the rest of the people were older than us. It was fun and there were good cookies. Our Japanese books have finally come into the bookstore, so now maybe we can do some actual work! It is depressing to me that we are using the same book as the first year students, even if I can understand the reasoning behind it. It is almost as if the years of studying that we have already done do not matter because of the switch from Jordan to Yookoso. Boooo to that! The book did come with all sorts of audio help, though, which is cool. I'm looking forward to actually learning the language. I already learned the verb for to sleep, which I didn't know before. " Is this YOU? :p hehehehe. if it is, well, there's your hint! And we will probably have a projector for anime! Whee! and I'm not feeling so sick anymore, thank goodness. Two shows I am going to watch more of now that I know when they are on, somewhat - the Twilight Zone and Dark Shadows. I saw two episodes of the former today, the one with the woman who is a mannequin and the one with the man who has a guardian angel who tries to make him successful, but since in order to gain that ideal of success he would have to lose those elements of his personality that made him an individual, and really, is that success? Its just such a good show. I am also going to try to entry more, since I have been terribly neglectful lately!
