Hahaha, almost missed watching Buffy but SAVED by jimbo finding some random person with a tape of it! Take that, Buffy free universe! Hopefully I can finish wading through all this work I have to do, or take some time away from it, anyhow, to watch some newfangled Buffy goodness! Our Japanese teacher decided to give us 16 excercises to do. In three days. Which is a lot, in my opinion. Mostly because, well, they probably would have done us a lot more help if we had had to do them before the test that we just took on the chapter they are for. And maybe if she spaced them out some, instead of not giving us homework for weeks!! and then giving us so many excercises at once. Yes, yes, bitch bitch bitch. It's just annoying, is all. It takes me forver to do each one because I live in fear of getting one thing wrong, because boop! the smallest mistake on my work book and I get a 4 instead of a 5. bah. Despite the fact that about two mistakes out of, say, 10 excercise sets is PRETTY DARN GOOD. Grrrrrrr....

Oh well. I am just not looking forward to writing the rough draft of my Death of a Salesman paper at all. I shoudl probably go to the library and do some more research for it, but I have no motivation and really don't know where else to look. I have one book with two articles I can use parts out of, and one play review, and that does not a paper make. The rough draft is for Thursday when I have a meeting with Dr. Jaroff, and maybe she can help me. But I have a sneaking, paranoid suspicion that she doesn't like me, so I don't want to rely on her too much.

C'est la vie!

Tonight is stay up late and do stuff night. This afternoon was a sleepy, rainy thing, so even though last night was a good night for sleep, hours wise, I napped for two hours this afternoon. Yes, I am sufficiently angry at myself for it, too. It was fueled by rain, what can I say. That and I was reading the Daoism book that Dr. Clark lent me to read for my final paper, and it was just so much information to process...Daoism is awesome, though. I can't wait to get past what I already know about it in the book, i.e. the Laozi and the Zuangzi.

mmm, tea made in one of those teaball strainer things...delicious.

Details for the 6 week language pre-session for the program I want to do :

1. Language classes (2-3 hrs/day, M-F) for one month at a language institute in Tokyo

2. Homestay with local Japanese family. Meals are provided at the home as follows (Breakfast/Dinner M-F, some meals on the weekend).

3. Commuter pass that allows for travel between language school and homestay

I would have liked more transportation options :p. I also like how it says "some meals on the weekend," I interpret that as "if you are lucky, you will get to eat, silly girl. If you get a crappy homestay, you'll be lucky they let you out of the house to get your own food even when they don't provide it."

By the way, Kogepan is cool. He was supposed to be a very special bread, but he fell into the oven and got burned. So now, he has issues. You all want to watch his videos. I may show one of them at anime night, just because I have iron will and control of the projector.

Oh, wow, because of the english class conferences, I don't think that we have Into to Lit today and Friday. Awesomeness!

I really should come into writing these entries with some sort of topic I want to discuss, otherwise they become all stream of consciousness like this one has. Oh well!
