1:20 a.m. - 16.09.02 It's kind of late tonight to be writing, but I am on the conclusion of a response paper thing for Intro to Lit and felt like...doing something else for a while. My condition is much improved, I think that all of the sleeping that I have been doing is putting my body back onto the path of health. Today was a rainy day. Happy wedding shower day, Kristina!! Next week is going to be so much fun, although I still cannot believe that one of my friends is getting married. I don't know if it has really become in my head yet, this idea of Kristina as a married woman. It just seems so mature, something I don't know if I can quite get my mind around. I certainly don't think that I am mature enough, but, really, I also don't think that I am immature either, so where does that train of thought take me? Confusion! I'll get to see Erin! She's going to be at the wedding! It's going to be so cool! I probably mentioned that before, but heck, I'm really excited!! I have to go to Annie Sez or something to find a pair or black shoes, or see if I can phenagle my way into getting someone to drive me to the mall. Poor Rhonda, not getting to go shoe shopping with after all :p. It is so damp today, my skin just feels like it has a layer of moisture permanently attached to it - it makes me want to shower, but, really, doesn't that just seem like it would make things worse? Or would inundating my body with water somehow make it less moist? I wonder. I have a book to read by Tuesday called The Doctor's Wife. It's pretty interesting thus far, the women are so catty, a mother and daughter in law silently fightiong over the affection of the son/husband that they share. Speaking of catty, there is a kitty that has taken up residence outside of our house, it is so sad, I want to let it inside but we can't. Jimbo put a box outside for it and earlier people fed it, so I guess it will be ok. I just saw it for the first time tonight, and it's really cute. By 1.30 I should be sleepy, right? Perhaps I will try to survive on nothing but apples and yougurt for the next couple of days. It might be fun! I am going to try to eat more fruits and veggies and fewer meats and carbohydrates, since my diet might be contributing to my general logy-ness. Pineapple it is! And pea and cottage cheese salads with romaine lettuce and some carrots and tomatoes...yum. Still looking for a hobby, Michelle.
