And if you got someone to love.
Because it's alright, if you live the life you please. And if you got someone to love.

Yo. Things continue as normal, only with me filling up my time with learning to sew instead of being generally slobby.

Seriously though, I really have come to enjoy sewing. I'm still not good at it, and I have no idea what I am doing, but it is fun and makes me problem solve and make decisions. Sometimes I need to be able to make decisions that don't have anything to do with life, or people, or happiness, or pain. Sometimes you just need inanimate objects that you can cut with scissors and bring together with pink thread.

I'm reading this book by Haruki Murakami called "Norwegian Wood," and so far it is really enjoyable. The blurb on the back mentioned "This Side of Paradise," and add to that the fact that I am fond of Murakami and you have a winner. Oh, and it mentions and gives mad props to my boy F. Scott throughout the text as well. And I am charmed. It is making me really happy to catch references to things that we learned about in Japanese Film and Lit, various Japanese 60's writers and thoughts and such. Yes, we did learn something in that class amidst the teacher changes and the rambling and the not learning anything feelings that I kept getting. One day one of my classmates in Japanese asked me what my hardest class was, and I said that it was Japanese language. He replied "You're kidding...you don't think Lit and Film with Mizenko sensei is so much harder?" And I didn't, because it wasn't, and I really will never understand why he said that and thought that it was. Everyone's different, I guess.

My sleep schedule is messed up again, since it is now 3.05 in the morning and I am still, unfortunately, awake and reading (well, typing now, but I was reading about 5 minutes ago, and will return when I am finished with this). I don't know how to fix it, but blame my troubles on being a girl. Because this is what it does to me. If only it didn't come with so many perks.

My glasses came in at the doctor's office today and so I drove down to pick them up. So now I have glasses, and rather enjoy it. Take that, eyes. You no longer will be forced to wear contacts all the time, and you will like it! The glasses are very nice, and my mom keeps complimenting me on them, despite the fact that she wanted me to get the emo frames and said that the ones I picked out (the ones I have now) were her least favorite of the styles that I picked out. Did you know that they have Britney Spears glasses?

Just a weird fact.

I'm in my bathrobe. It has ducks on it. Please don't leave me alone with my thoughts, I think that they are trying to conspire.

And wow, it's 2003. My life: in motion, hopefully in a good direction.
