All is full of love.
Well, I'm at school now and have spent two, going on three nights in my room. So far things are going splendidly - My classes seem to all be pretty easy, and although that is not exactly what I want, I am sort of grateful that it will leave me time to put extra effort into my study of Japanese, the one class that looks like it is going to make me nervous on an almost daily basis.

Nerves are good, though, they remind you of that life is not always fun and games. Not that I had to learn that lesson, it's drilled in well, but in any case! The nerves and my fear of embarassment are going to drive me to put in effort! Lots and lots of effort!

My desk is slightly too high to type comfortably on with this desk chair. Speaking of the desk chair, what are the chances that I would get the same broken chair that I had last year in the downstairs triple? That the chair would move WITH me to this room so that I am once again faced with a tilty backed chair? Astronomical, you say? Well, no sir, because that is exactly what has happened! I don't mind though, it's just pretty funny.

Chinese Thought and Culture seems to be pretty interesting, and Dr. Clark is fun, so I look forward to it. In Japanese we have three new freshmen who know more than I do and just make me feel old and unlearned - but I am hopeful that this will drive me. Japanese Film and Lit is going to be a blast, even if Mizenkosensei is out on leave because of back surgery for the first half of the semester. A class where you get graded on your individual interpretation of the X movie? Sign me up! And Intro to Lit seems like a bit of a sham thus far - no class should look as easy as this one seems to - but Dr. Jaroff is great, so I am looking forward to at least having a good time.

My room is seriously cool. Thanks I think to Leah for leaving a full length mirror in one of the closets to support my vanity! the AOL cds that I have been halfheartedly collecting throughout the summer are being hung on the ceiling and are so far (and hopefully in the future) staying up there. My bulletin board is being miraculously hung on the wall with packing tape. I was amazed for about twenty minutes at how strong the stuff really is.

Oh, and the Homies have moved into their barrio, but possibly only temporarily due to the fact that they will all fall down should I want to even attempt DDR.

But, things are great, everything is generic in this entry. I am happy.

All is full of love.
