1:58 p.m. - 28.12.02 Mrew : ) Break continues as it has been. Yesterday was the Christmas Party of Fancy Fun 2002. Congrats to the hosts for making it lovely. The decorations were amazing, the amount of time that Jen and Julia spent on everything really showed. The food was good too, although somehow I got the worst headache, probably brought on by trying to eat too much. We spent a bunch of the time just sitting around the table and trying to figure out how to take apart a bunch of those metal wire mind puzzle things, and then after dinner we played Cranium and Apples to Apples!! Apples to Apples! Adam, you would be happy to know that I championed this game to my friends, and that they all seemed to enjoy it, which made me even happier : ) Ah, spreading the joy that is one of the most non-skill-based / reading people-oriented / humor-intensive games ever! Cranium was fun as well (such was it's reputation), although how the HECK do you act out a hormone? You just cannot! :) Winston Churchill, yes. Sherlock Holmes, yes. Hormones? No! My digital camera still induces awe. The movie making feature is just amazing, especially when you download them to the computer and they have sound. Laptop-chan (a good substitute name until I finally figure out my computer's name [yes, it is probably quadrophenia, but I want to give it a chance]) is now filled with pictures from practically every day. For Doug, here is a picture of the "best card ever!". I tried the best I could to make it a managable size and keep it from being too blurry or off-center :) And, if anyone wants it, here is the group picture from the Christmas party last night. On the bad side, my sleep schedule is so messed up that it's going to take at least one hardcore all-nighter to fix. And I still haven't finished reading the Fellowship of the Ring. But stuffed animal Stitch makes everything better.
